Ireneparalegal 03-22-2007, 09:29 PM THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. I love this movie. They always show it on television at Easter. I never get tired of this movie. Last year they made the mistake of "remaking" it...really what they did was revamp it for the 21st century audience. I HATED IT. Some movies are best left alone, no remakes, no editing, nothing. This movie just fascinates me as it did when I was a young girl. Max Whittaker 03-22-2007, 10:07 PM Mary Poppins followed closely by Singing in the Rain. Both movies have a good old time-feel, and good feel-good simplicity. But I didn't see Singing in the Rain until I was in my late teens. I grew up with Mary Poppins. So the film has more of a nostalgic feel. Everything about it brings a smile to my face. From the jolly music to the innocent adventures. I totally agree, one of my favorites! every Easter i stay up late watching it! so awesome! the lady who played Lily Munster, Yvonne DeCarlo, was in it I think... am I correct? But, my favorite.... would have to beee... um... maybe the Wizard of Oz or... Gone With the Wind so hard to choose!
