Jaws. The book and the movie are AWESOME. That is a rarity when the movie may not have followed the book to a tee.

Midnight Express. I loved both the book and the movie, however, the movie ended with the main character, Billy Hayes, escaping from prison. In the book, his drama continued as Billy still found himself having to hide from authorities who would be searching for him and his eventual crossing into another country to freedom.

The Grifters. My favorite book AND my favorite movie. :)

Most people find the movie boring but I've found that's mostly because they don't really get what's going on and expect something completely different than what the story is actually trying to convey.

The Stand was a book I really liked and they finally made the movie, though it was a tv made movie.

The Harry Potter books are being made into movies and it worked. I liked seeing the characters come to life on the big screen. I think turning books into movies is a good idea.

Charlotte's Web was my favorite book as a kid and I liked the animated movie, haven't seen the new one yet.

I love the Harry Potter movies and am anxiously waiting the fifth one I loved the first one seeing how everything was supposed to look
