David Carr is a good QB but the Texans have had a sh*itty offensive line. You are almost as good as your line will let you be.

I agree with you it's time for a change, but in Carr's defense, he just had a bad OL.

Agreed, the guy first had no receivers to throw to and then he had no O Line. It is really unfair.

He was supposed to have buying time skills. When u made the money he made for 4 years it's not a such thing as UNFAIR-lol

I disagree, you bring in a franchise qb, you should be smart enough to surround him with the pieces to succeed.

But Throwing Interceptions can't be blamed on the O-line-lol

Brian the main point is when you have more Career INT's than TD"s, it's time to Go-lol

Since 2002, he had 65 career Int's and 59 TD's. Not attractive Career number at All

Solomon, you are smart enough to know that the O line has EVERYTHING to do with throwing interceptions. If Carr is constantly being hurried to throw the ball, ints will happen.

You are old enough to know that not all 65 Int's were hurried throws-lol

The Texans are just a bad organization. I wonder how well Reggie Bush would have done if the Texans did draft him?

Yea I wonder that as well I can't believe they passed on 3 great players Reggie Bush, Vince Young, Matt linert. Add Jay Cutler to that list as well.

as for this deal Schuab is a good Qb but hasen't really proven anything to me. Carr should be traded to a team with a reasonable offensive line unlike that sh*tty one in houston. If I were houston i would trade to trade for a good o-line man. They have one ok player on their line center mike flannagan.

A couple of teams need a QB like the dolphins, the browns, the cheifs, who knows maybe the eagles & giants, the lions, packers, vikings and every qb's dream spot the oakland fakers! I think he could compete for a started jobs on those teams.

It's amazing how people just blast away at Carr. His first 3 seasons were right on track for a pro career. Everyone seems to for get that. 2-14. 5-11. Then 7-9. Everyone thought that the next year they would go 9-7 or 10-6 and have a chance at the playoffs. The next year was a mess. 2-14 again. Alot of the mess for the Texans can be blamed on Charlie Casserly. One example is he gave away 3 draft picks to the Titans to get Jason Babin!!! Talk about a joke of a player!! Dom Capers also sucked as a head coach. The o-line players even said that they had no idea what kind of blocking scheme they were running. Gary Kubiak and Rick Smith are getting this team back on track. Even though they didn't pick Reggie or Vince they still had one of the best drafts in the NFL from top to bottom. And in fairness to Carr, he started out having a solid season last year. The leauges top passing rating. But once again the O-Line started to have injurys and he started getting the hell beat out of him again. Andre Johnson led the league in receptions and made the Pro Bowl again. Someone had to be throwing him the ball. It is time for Carr to go though. A fresh start will help him. And to say he'll never start is a little premature. If Joey Harrington can make people talk about him starting over Daunte Culpepper then anything is possible.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing the Vikings try to grab Carr now. They have a pretty solid O-line, kind of weak on the right side, but still a lot better than the Texans'.

As for the trade itself...the Texans are sure giving up a lot for a guy who has started like 3 games. If they don't put together a decent line for Schaub, it's going to be a meaningless trade.

If he was cut I'll bet you a paycheck that he'll play again. Now teams can pick him up without giving anything up.

They'll probably trade down with the #10 pick and get a lower #1 and try and pick up another 2nd rounder.
