Do you think DS could have had more than 8 seasons and better episodes if Dana hadn't got kicked off?

ThomasE 04-01-2007, 05:58 AM She did appear in guest spots/recurring during the last two seasons, but I think that it was losing its flavor anyway. Then again, that is just my opinion. GARFIELDKOOL 04-01-2007, 12:08 PM I don't think that would have mattered, because not many episodes revolved around her anyway. Even though they had gotten older, they still should have kept the Arnold-Willis format instead of the Arnold-Sam flavor. That would have made a difference. Scoobiedoo30 04-07-2007, 01:56 AM I think Diff'rent Strokes could have gone for 12 Season Johnny be good! 04-22-2007, 09:59 AM Maybe it could have been an Arnold-Willis-Sam format. That way it would have focused on all 3 brothers. Deprogram 04-26-2007, 09:20 PM This may be blasphemy here, but I think eight seasons was too many. At the very least it's not as if some huge opportunity was missed by not letting it go on longer. Many would say it was time to put the show out of its misery. Brian Damage 04-26-2007, 10:39 PM It was losing too much steam. Dana couldn't save it herself. 88survivor 04-27-2007, 12:13 AM But it didn't outlived its spin off, Facts of Life, which ran longer than Diff'rent Strokes. And that's another show that went on for way too long. *CHAD* 05-08-2007, 01:25 AM Do you think DS could have had more than 8 seasons and better episodes if Dana hadn't got kicked off? Maybe? |
