View Full Version : something that drives me insane
sunshinefizzy 03-20-2007, 05:01 PM Did you ever watch a sitcom and two characters are kissing and they get really into it and the live audience or whatever it is starts screaming its like wow people kiss. I mean if they were quiet, I could play with myself with no distraction!!! I love a good kiss and then I type a post about loving weddings, I must be a hopeless romantic! I don't know, do any of you guys feel me with that???
catlover79 03-20-2007, 07:57 PM EXTREMELY annoying!! Worst offender: Saved by the Bell, close second: Full House. puke:
friendsfan77 03-20-2007, 08:06 PM Don't forget Step by Step, Family Matters and Married with Children. Ok, we believe you. You're filmed in front of a studio audience.

BINGO!!!! *ding ding ding* YOU WIN!!!!! SBTB was so annoying when my daughters' would watch it and I could hear that "Whooooooooooo" in the next room.
Happy Days is the second show that comes to mind...Chachi walking into the scene and the girls would scream! Same thing with Fonzie. ANNOYING!!!!! Especially when the actors have to stop saying their lines til the audience dies down and then they resume talking.

Irene, I couldn't have said it better myself.
treky 03-21-2007, 02:37 AM "Happy Days" has to be THE WORST at that!!!
88survivor 03-21-2007, 05:02 AM I thought Married With Children had the most wooohs, aaaaahs, and Yeah, Al out of the whole bunch you mentioned so far.
BensonFan 03-21-2007, 06:49 AM I think the audience is probably encouraged to behave that way for certain shows.

that's right; I forgot about that one. That's another one that's pretty bad.

I didn't mind the cheers, wooohs, and yeahs. What bugged me was this lady always laughed out loud, even when a line wasn't that funny. You can hear her clearly, it's a distinct laugh. I want to say tell her to shut up.
Certain episodes of I Love Lucy were that way too, when something was going to happen you can hear a lady in the audience say uh oh, before anything happens.

YES!!! It makes me wonder to this day, if they filmed before a studio audience, why then was that one particular lady (I Love Lucy) heard so many times? I know when that lady's voice will come on because I have seen each episode a bajillion times. It IS ANNOYING.
catlover79 03-21-2007, 07:30 PM Sanford & Son was another BIG offender in this category. Actually, I'd put it right after SBTB. Make it stop!!!

I think I read or heard somewhere that that was Luc ile Balls mother or something, who was in the audience for every episode.
