My buddy Michael Ausiello over at TV Guide is still watching the Sherman-Palladino-free season of “Gilmore Girls,” and has scored scoop on the season finale.
It was established early in the first season that young Rory Gilmore’s role model was CNN news-hen Christiane Amanpour, and Rory will now meet Amanpour in the May 8 wrap-up.
It’s an especially cool “get” because, as Ausiello points out, this is likely the last season of the show.
