Oh, yeah. I remember it well--"argh, I'll be finding the Space Kidettes treasure map today." Haven't thought of that one in years.

Yes, I remember The Space Kidettes. The main character was a Burt Reynolds ripoff. It had absurd things like character "falling down" in outer space... to where, I wonder?

Burt Reynolds?

The show remains one of Hanna-Barbera's least remembered 1960s or earlier shows along with Ruff and Reddy, (1957) their first, precisely because it hasn't been shown for years!

It debuted in September of 1966 and this cast:
Capt.Skyhook/one of the Kiddetts/DAWS BUTLER

Jenny/JANET WALDO (now showing, as with Precious Pupp's Granny Sweet, she could almost give June Foray a run for her money! That's in addition to Janet's own patentend Judy stuff)

Snoopy (NOT the beagle!)/CHRIS ALLEN (Jay Ward's replacement for Foray on HOPPITY HOOPER, where Chris (a girl!) handled all the females!)

Some other character/LUCILLE BLISS (another non-Foray Ward voice, Crusader Rabbit and later iN H-B's dark Ages Smurfette-also one of several performers to have an early start voicing a character in Disney's CINDERELLA (1950), Anatasia)
