I can remember that back then I didn't have a good opinion of white people after seeing the movie :lol: I was very mad at them all. But I got over it, and I intend to sit down and watch Roots again..... with my son, this time. Because with few exceptions, they haven't really changed. However, I can control that and not let it rule me. As for Roots, I always thought it was a good introduction as far as what we went through, it just barely scratched the surface in showing our horrors. No program can really show it adequately. |
