Have you ever been to a weekend or week long music festival?





Back in the 80's they used to have one called "One For The Sun" at Hermitage
Landing just outside of Nashville. We took a tent and paid to camp out there
for the weekend and bought tickets & arm bands for the festival. They had
bands play all weekend long. It was pretty neat.

Well it wasn't a week long it was 4 days. Comstock Windmill music festival, it's a country music festival here in Nebraksa and it takes place out in a pasture filled with Windmills. there's 3 stages and they have 4 days of concerts. They have 3 big name singers each day in the evening and local singers or bands during the day. They even have Comstock Rock and Godstock but I have only been to the country one and I have been to it 5 years now and I loved every minute of it.

Isn't it alot of fun? You get to camp out, meet new people and get to hear
& see alot of different bands. At the one I went to, they had maybe 4 well-
known bands and then alot of other bands you'd never heard of, some pretty good and some pretty bad. But it was still fun.

anyone been to bonnaroo? i'm looking at going this summer...
