TV Land in 2007 sure looks interesting . Designing Women in October? If it indeed comes, I give it a week at the most!

The only thing that captures my interest is "Laugh-In," which I haven't seen in a very long time.

Everything else looks like crap.

Everything else looks like crap.I agree. That will be interesting to see.
I'm still shocked about Designing Women. How do they possibly think that show is going to do any better than Night Court, 227, Wings, Benson, Murphy Brown, etc? I doubt that it will last long. It just doesn't fit.

I hope there are some more shows coming this year, they could use a few.

I agree, and for what it's worth, I think all the shows you just mentioned that didn't do well ratings-wise can probably be blamed on the poor time slots and jerking them all around the TV Land schedule. There are plenty of people who enjoy those shows (like me!) who got very frustrated with the shabby treatment and just gave up. :(

I'm looking forward to the Murphy Brown and Mad About You summer stunts. I would have to say the Mad About You is the newest "classic" show to air on the network, considering it aired until 1999.

NOT FRIDAY NIGHT MOVIES AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My thoughts exactly. Everyone on the message board complained up a storm about these movies, but here they are again.

I'm starting to think the programmer over there is just showing what he wants to see, not what the actual viewers want to see.

I believe that TVland doesn't even read that damn board. Why have a board and not acknowledge the feedback and opinions? That's the same board that had racist comments posted on the Good Times section. One reason I refuse to open up that damn board over there.

I knew there had to be a Cosby marathon in there. My question is why no Rosanne. These 2 shows should be shown no more than once a nite.

Why is everyone so up in arms about movies? They will air ONCE A WEEK. Frankly, I think it's nice TV Land added movies. If you don't like it, don't watch.

Yay to Laugh-In! It was airing on Trio for years, but then Trio was yanked. I can't wait for that.

Glad to see Designing Women being given a shot on TV Land, but it's odd they'd wait all the way until October to launch it, lol.

Other than that, none of the rest thrills me at all.

It is surprising that they're waiting 6 months to add DW. Usually when a former N@N show is added they just abruptly move it over or start showing it.
I wonder if they'll air it in prime time? Or do a Wings and 227 with it. I can see 12AM or something like that.

Sounds like they are trying to "Re-launch" Designing Women. Glad TV Land is giving it a chance, although they should just sell the rights back to Lifetime if they can, lol. Let Lifetime Real Women, or Oxygen air it.

Although, I've always personally felt that WE should become the all classic women's entertainment network, airing classic shows like Kate and Allie, Murphy Brown, Maude, etc.

Because it's supposed to be TV Land and theatrical movies don't fall into that category. Why don't they at least air classic tv movies?

I've seen these types of highlights for the year in the past...most of it gets changed, so don't expect most of that to happen.

Murphy Brown Summer Stunt
Laugh-In

If nothing else on here works, PLEASE, TV Land, just let these two happen. I loved seeing Laugh In on Trio, and my overwhelming love for the Murphy Brown sitcom has been repeatedly stated.

That said, this IS the TV biz, all plans are tentative until a month after they happen.:lol:

Yeah, especially with TV Land, we all know how they constantly change things.

Pav, you don't think much of this will happen? Why?

Yeah, it's still very early. TheLink has made a few errors also, so who really knows. Now he's saying he doesn't know if Laugh In is going to be acquired for a regular addition or just a special.

I guess I really don't see them doing the Mad About You/Murphy Brown things. I don't know who though, it just doesn't seem likely.
