LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - A new Russian version of "Law & Order: SVU" premiered in primetime this week on Russia's NTV network, marking the first scripted procedural format of a U.S. series to air overseas.

The premiere Monday was the night's popular show, while a second original episode the next night was also tops.

A French version of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" is scheduled to premiere this year on France's TF1.
