My name is Karen and this is my first post. I am married with four kids, and I am a part-time student. I love to read about missing people and cold cases. My current obsession is with the case of Ben Needham, a toddler who went missing off the island of Kos, Greece in July 1991. Anyone familiar? His website is www.benneedham.info. I love Unsolved Mysteries, I even watch and record reruns! Anyone else as crazy as me? I hope to have exciting chats with you all, from what I have read of the message boards so far, I am sure I will have a very interesting experience. Thanks!

Yes I also enjoy reading about cold cases and missing persons and tape UM reruns regularly as well. Never heard of the case you mentioned but it sounds interesting.

Hi there. I'm a new member here as well. I too enjoy learning about unsolved crimes. I don't watch UM anymore because I never catch any reruns on cable but I attribute its existance to my lifelong interest in such cases. In fourth grade my two best friends and I watched each new episode religiously as they aired and would discuss them the following day at school. I remember some of the topics and definately the music scaring me but I never turned it off. I was only interested in the murders and disappearances, though. I hated when they got into paranormal stuff. The family reunion sketches were heartwarming but I felt belonged on a separate show. I still miss it. Stack really set the stage for all of these new true-crime show hosts.
