Man, I must be really old. I've been listening to AM radio more than FM, since I was 13 years old. Of course, now that Art Bell isn't around, I don't listen nearly as much as I did.

Nope - sorry Solomon but I switched to FM around age 25!

What scares me is my husband's been tuning in to a station that plays mostly showtunes and Perry Como (I know you have NO idea who he is! LOL)

Means he's either REALLY old or turning gay I think!!

Aside from satellite, the only "terrestrial" radio I listen to is AM talk radio. Yep, I'm old!!:p

I've listened to the AM stations for years, on and off. I've listened to the Indians games on AM, as well as sports talk. I used to listen to Glenn Beck all the time. Now I basically only put on AM to listen to the top or bottom of the hour news and weather. I don't listen much to FM either, I just play my own tapes and CDs. :D

I find myself listening to political and sports talk more now that I'm a little older. I used to laugh at people who listened to AM radio. Now, I'm one of them.

It dosen't help that the FM rock stations seem to only have about 50 songs that they repeat every day.

I have always loved AM radio.... I like how the band opens at night and you can get stations 500 miles away!

I like how AM sounds also..... On FM its too bassy and doesnt sound pleasant most times.... (Digitally sourced music)

In the AM mode the same digitally sourced music sounds much better! (More like analogue sourced)
