View Full Version : Prayers Needed!
Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 03-12-2007, 06:15 PM Hey guys. My aunt is going into the hospital tomorrow for a hysterectomy. It's not so much the operation I'm worried about, than how she will feel afterward. She can't have children anymore anyway, but she wasn't taking this very well. I was supposed to go to the hospital tomorrow, but I came down with a nasty cold and I have a high fever and I think it's best I don't go near her. I'm disappointed but think it's best. So if everyone could keep my Aunt in their prayers tomorrow, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear that; she will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I hope that you will feel better real soon and so will she.

TripperFan 03-13-2007, 08:55 AM Hope she's ok Kelly. I had a similar operation a year ago this month and everything was fine. Don't know what age she is, but I know what it feels like to have the ability to bear children taken from you. Not so horrible, if she wants a child badly enough, there's plenty to adopt that need a loving home. I find just having my dogs is enough for me.
At least the recovery period isn't as bad as it used to be either so hope she's up and around again in no time.
Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 03-13-2007, 03:00 PM Thanks everyone! I just got word a little while ago, she got out of surgery okay and the mass on her uterus was benign. :) Thank you for the prayers!

Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 03-14-2007, 04:48 PM Bad news guys. We found out this morning and while she was in surgery, another surgeon saw something on her colon and she had another surgery last night and was in there for five hours. We didn't even know until today. We don't know what's going on yet or if what they found was bad. :(

Same here, Kelly!
TripperFan 03-14-2007, 06:56 PM Oh that sucks! But please try to keep positive - hopefully it's something that they found early because of the surgery. It could be a blessing in disguise.
Will keep my fingers crossed.
