I was just thinking while I was going for a walk and I thought of how appropriate their names are for them. Obviously Tripper for how accident prone Jack is. Take the first four letters out of Janet and you get Jane and that sounds like plain Jane (not that Janet is plain, I mean, if I were a guy I would totally bang her, sorry that was very wrong). Chrissy sounds very little girlish, which is cool because she only had 9 brain cells. Cindy sounds like sin and with the whole Suzanne and her vanity and vanity in some religion is a sin. Teri like they were tearing away from the dumb blond mode. Mrs. Roper was pulling Mr. Roper into the bedroom like on a rope (he!he!) Furley because fur is delicate and easy to mess up (his self-esteem, I mean). Larry rhymes with "wary" (you need to be careful of) and Lana sounds like Llama and I heard they are easily aroused!!! And I am a freak of nature!!!

I agree with you, they definatly took put some time into thinking about the names of the characters. Also, I wonder what we are supposed to interpret "Wood" as? Maybe because she was plain/stiff, or even because she was "flat" as a board (or at least they depicted her to be during the show, not my personal opinion or an insult to her)

and also... JACK and JOHN are really similar. so are JOYCE and JANET. all start with the same letter and have the same number of syllables as their realll name. ayyayayayaya
