I would say it's a tie between Growing Pains and Perfect Strangers Brian Damage 03-11-2007, 02:28 AM Ugh, I thought they were all a bit corny. ChanandMon 03-11-2007, 02:29 AM I personally always loved Growing Pain's theme. Liked Who's the Boss's also. Don't remember Perfect Strangers', never really watched it. TVFactFan 03-11-2007, 02:33 AM Ugh, I thought they were all a bit corny. When Perfect Strangers was on N@N in 2003, I would always turn up the Volume when the opening theme was playing-lol Brian Damage 03-11-2007, 02:35 AM When Perfect Strangers was on N@N in 2003, I would always turn up the Volume when the opening theme was playing-lol Didn't you do that for Step by Step as well? lol TVFactFan 03-11-2007, 02:39 AM Didn't you do that for Step by Step as well? lol Yup, Step by Step was another TV show with a nice opening theme and the Spinoff Grady. The opening themes that made me turn the volume down was Fresh Prince Jeffersons One Day at a Time Hangin Mr. Cooper A Different World Brian Damage 03-11-2007, 02:46 AM Rhoda for me. ssjenk6 03-11-2007, 09:11 AM I would vote Growing Pains definitely. JulieSomoski 03-11-2007, 05:28 PM Who's the Boss? theme had always gotten annoying to me after hearing it over and over. Growing Pains had the best . . . it was just so easy to listen and sing to. freshprinceofLA 03-11-2007, 05:48 PM I liked the Growing Pains theme the best the ones I hated -The early roseanne theme song (I liked the later version) -sanford & son -Fresh Prince (got annoyed by it) -Some of the cosby show theme's tvlover85 03-11-2007, 06:44 PM The Perfect Strangers theme sounds like something one could run a marathon to. Anyway, all three were great as well as other 70's/80's/90's sitcom themes. Unfortunately they don't make them like they used to. comedyfreak 03-12-2007, 03:57 AM From the two picks, Perfect Strangers was my favorite. GARFIELDKOOL 03-12-2007, 08:41 PM Ugh, I thought they were all a bit corny. Me too. GARFIELDKOOL 03-12-2007, 08:43 PM Yup, Step by Step was another TV show with a nice opening theme and the Spinoff Grady. The opening themes that made me turn the volume down was Fresh Prince Jeffersons One Day at a Time Hangin Mr. Cooper A Different World All these sitcoms you listed had better theme songs than the ones you posted on this thread. I kind of agree with you on A Different World's song, though. It had no flare to it. TVFactFan 03-12-2007, 10:31 PM All these sitcoms you listed had better theme songs than the ones you posted on this thread. I kind of agree with you on A Different World's song, though. It had no flare to it. I disagree, the theme song for the Jeffersons, Hangin with Mr. Cooper, and Fresh Prince was not in the easy listening category-lol Brieannas21 03-12-2007, 10:57 PM I liked Perfect Strangers, Family Ties, Family Matters (1st season) and Who's the Boss. Those remind me of the Good Ol' Days roseha 03-13-2007, 01:17 AM I like the Perfect Strangers theme, and even more the version that adds the scenes in Chicago with BP and MLB. |
