Thanks so much Guys - and especially Janice for posting a thread for someone who hasn't been able to be around much for a long while now!

Had a great B'Day weekend which I really wasn't expecting so it was excellent. Just trying to come up (quickly cuz I'm at work) with a Top Ten list for you guys from it. (Went to a concert, and boy have things changed since I used to go to concerts - I ended up pulling a 10 minute laughing fit from my observations).

Great to see all my buddies still around. :wave: :happyface

Brad - again, I'm working on a good long response from your last 2 PMs. (Flew to Dallas in early January and was thinking of you during takeoff and landing - lol).

Captain - Geddy's going to love your pic! (as a matter of fact, the Classic Rock station in TO debuted Rush's "Far Cry" this morning from their upcoming CD to be released in May). This weekend brought back so many fantastic memories of my "Rock & Roll Days" that it made it really tough to believe I turned that nasty "F-word": 46 !!:eek: :rolleyes: :p

Ah well - anyday above ground is a good one! (unless of course, you're James Brown)....

It's interesting, I've been so much into guitar, and yet when I play bass, something just opens up!!! It'd be cool to play as well as Geddy!!! :cool:

Wow - thanks for that link. I never knew any of that myself. You know my favourite Rush album is 2112 and I always compared some of the songs on it to what the Nazis were doing - like restricting certain types of music. The article didn't mention it, but I wonder if it had an influence on that album as well. If I run into Geddy again (or Alex or Neil) I've got to remember to ask that.
