View Full Version : Daylight Saving Time AB 03-11-2007, 12:34 AM How many clocks, watches, vcr's do you have to change over to daylight savings time? I counted 19 including our vehicles. Janice 03-11-2007, 12:39 AM Let's see....5 watches, two dvd/vcr, microwave, stove clock, 2 wall clocks, answering machine, two alarm/clock radios, car, grandfather clock....I guess that's 16, lol. Brian Damage 03-11-2007, 12:44 AM Too Many to list! ohno: AB 03-11-2007, 12:51 AM Don't you hate having to change them all, I know I do. Janice 03-11-2007, 01:02 AM Don't you hate having to change them all, I know I do. Yes, especially forward. It's one thing if we're gaining an hour, quite another losing one, lol. Brian Damage 03-11-2007, 01:12 AM Yes, especially forward. It's one thing if we're gaining an hour, quite another losing one, lol. When do we change them anyway? Janice 03-11-2007, 01:15 AM When do we change them anyway? I think 2am. I started doing them today. I'll do the rest before I go to bed tonight. AKA 03-11-2007, 01:20 AM The only clock I need to change are the one in the living room, the one over the microwave, the one on the oven, and the one on the coffee maker. Everything else (cable box, cell phone, computer) is remotely or automatically reset. Brian Damage 03-11-2007, 01:21 AM The news said that if you have Micro soft Vista, it automatically resets itself. They also said that MS XP sent a download to all of its computers, but it may not take. Hollow 03-11-2007, 02:06 AM zero. ****izona. dawsongirl 03-11-2007, 02:11 AM Too many, now that the automatic ones won't set themselves. Thank you very much, Congress. pissed: Janice 03-11-2007, 02:22 AM I'm just pissed that now it's really 2:20am, and it's past my bedtime. Brian Damage 03-11-2007, 02:50 AM I'm just pissed that now it's really 2:20am, and it's past my bedtime. Brent88 03-11-2007, 03:14 AM Let's see, only my watch, my alarm clock, and my DVD recorder. My Vista laptop will change automatically(in 45 minutes). Overall I like DST(love the extra light in the evening), I just hate the first couple of days with regards to the morning(especially Monday getting up at 7am, 6am old time, blah). TVJunkie101 03-11-2007, 08:21 AM My windows XP system changed on it's own. Didn't have to do anything. DLevine2 03-11-2007, 08:23 AM I fixed the alarm clocks, my watch, the clock on the coffeemaker, and the clock on the microwave. It's early to spring forward. We always spring forward in the first week of April. Janice 03-11-2007, 11:49 AM Saving Savings Time didn't get me. I slept until 11:15, lol. AKA 03-11-2007, 12:25 PM Looks like it got the board, though. It's still an hour off. Dutabi84 03-11-2007, 12:29 PM Ahh, my phone changed on its own. Sneaky, sneaky phone! No wonder I felt so tired when I woke up at "10:30." PZelda 03-11-2007, 12:42 PM Ahh, my phone changed on its own. Sneaky, sneaky phone! No wonder I felt so tired when I woke up at "10:30." lol, mine did that too. Czas na Zywiec 03-11-2007, 02:04 PM Yep, most of my things changed automatically for Daylight Saving Time. I just have one clock in the kitchen that's a clock with the hour and minute hand that I need to change. catlover79 03-11-2007, 04:07 PM Well, I changed the clock in my car. Then I set my cell phone ahead last night before I remembered it changes automatically. Oops... My folks basically change the clocks in the house, and I don't currently wear a watch. So I just changed two. rusyd 03-11-2007, 04:33 PM 3 alarm clocks, 2 car clocks 2 wall clocks, 1 microwave and stove clock. I think all but one of the cars is moved forward. I hate losing an hour. |
