I collect FAMILY GUY and I LOVE LUCY items. I mostly get ILL items because ILL is my all time fave show. I can watch it over and over again. The latest item I received was a small coin purse with Lucy and Desi on it. My daughter got it for me.

I would say it's my VHS collection of recorded TV sitcoms I have accumulated over the years. Most of it is alreay on DVD, but I guess these VHS tapes can be quite expensive.

I collect anything connected to History. Just recently purchased a 1985 Philadelphia NewsPaper so I can read the horrible story on that day and so I can compare the 1985 Daily News to the 2007 Daily News. Yes I know, I'm a Geek-lol

I collect anything related to a movie called Killers Three It was a low budget movie from API that was filmed about 15 miles from where I currently reside. Everything I've got has come from Ebay. I recently acquired a signed photo of Dick Clark from the movie but it was damaged by the person that packaged the item then folded in half by the carrier. :(

Nope, and I never have been a collector either. Everyone else in my family is, I just never found anything that I was excited enough about to collect.

My autograph collection...but I'm never going to give that up. I do wonder sometimes what it would be worth.

I don't, but my husband has quite an extensive coin collection. I have no idea what it's worth now, but he's spent a load of $$ on it over the years.

Well, I have my M*A*S*H autograph collection...not sure how much that's worth.

Then, I have a lot of original and 90's Star War's toys/collectibles. Some are still in their original boxes. A few have never been open.

But, perhaps my most valuable items are my JFK collection. I have several rather rare and hard-to-find things, and I know my Robert Rauchenberg (sp) original print of JFK is a decent value.

No your not. I have saved some newspapers on days where something significant occurred, a president dead, 9/11, etc. Other newspapers I saved merely to show my grandkids someday.

I also have collected MANY magazines that feature Madonna on the cover. From her early days up until she made Evita. Some are in their covers still. I won't part with them, I merely want to have them. I love Madonna. I also have a magazine with her posing in different fashions and in one layout she is topless. Something I didn't expect when I bought the fashion mag. Maybe a Playboy mag, but not that mag.

I collect different Stewie (Family Guy) items just because. I love that guy!

The main reason I want to buy it because I remember the story shook me up at the age of 10 and I couldn't sleep for days. So I would like to read that exact same newspaper at 31 and just remember how I reacted 22 years ago-lol

Same here. Even though I don't really collect for value, I imagine some could be worth quite a bit.

Sounds like a good idea to have bought it. I see nothing wrong. I would rather have my paper than some other newspaper. For the same reason you said.

I have a decent size collection of toys and action figures; most of them are Star Wars related.

Some of the vintage stuff from the 70's and early 80's have some value, but the newer stuff from the 90's doesn't. But since those figures are all mint and unopened, maybe some of the more obscure ones will be valuable some day.

Hm, I collect Beatles memorabilia, snowglobes, and dvds, but I don't think they're worth a lot of money (maybe some Beatles items, but I doubt it).

Let me take this quote back. I actually do collect movie theatre ticket stubs. I have practically every one I ever recieved. I also use to collect celebrity autographs, but since I'm too lazy to write letters these days, I don't do that anymore.

Yes, I do that as well... I've saved just about every one since my jr. high days, and I have them filed away in chronological order (yes, I'm a tad compulsive, lol...)

 I thought I was the only one who did that! I worked at a movie theater for over 6 years, and I still have almost every pass from that period. I don't collect ticket stubs anymore because I haven't seen a movie in the theater since 2005. I just wait until the interesting looking ones come to DVD and I check them out of the library so they're still free. Yes, I know I'm really cheap.

Pheeew, I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this. All my friends think it's weird that I do this. Don't worry about being a little compulsive, there's nothing wrong with that!! ;) Believe me, in 30 years, you'll be glad you held onto those!!

That's cool!! My mom also does that, and even has a small book of ticket stubs from all the concerts she went to when she was younger. She's most proud of her Bob Seger ones. She loved that guy growing up!! As much as she enjoys looking through all her tickets, I think I actually have more fun looking through them then she does.

Hahaha, yeah, I figure they are something that doesn't take up too much space, and that can serve as a good record of my movie-going past, for when my own memory starts to fade (although I'm only 20, so hopefully it will be a while before THAT happens!). And yes, a little compulsivity never hurt anyone.. :)

As for concert stubs... I totally would do that too, if I attended more than one concert every 1-2 yrs. One of the downsides of living in the middle of nowhere, I guess...

When my girls were small I kept ALL THE MCDONALD'S HAPPY MEAL TOYS in this big bin. However, one day while spring cleaning I noticed that while they were in the shed, the cover to the bin wasn't closed properly and they had become dingy, dirty, no good. I had to throw them out. Man, if they hadn't gotten damaged, they would be worth a pretty penny.

I have some old TV Guides I've gotten off ebay. I also have almost every issue from 1993 to 200...something.

From the looks of my room, I collect stuffed animals.

Any fav actor memoribilia I can get. Not that that suitcase I bought in 2004 is worth anything to anyone else, but I think it's cool.
