I have to admit. For a maybe about half the episode, I was thinking House had cancer. However, I knew there had to be some catch since the show was extended into next year and it's only the show's third season. I just couldn't figure out what that catch was. I also noticed after a bit how House just kept dismissing his "problem". Now, granted that would be in House's nature. Yet, "everybody lies." When it was finally revealed what House was really up to, I thought that was pretty low even by House's standards. Yet, in the same breath it was also a bit amusing and logical by House's standards. He hates talking to people in general. So, pretty much in stead of talking to a shrink and getting anti-depressants, he tried to cut out the middle man. He probably would have gotten away with it, if everyone just left him well enough alone. I thought the episode also showed something significant about his staff. As much as they can't stand him a lot of times, they respect him as a doctor and what he does. I think Cameron spoke a bit for all them when she said that if he wasn't there next year, there would be no point in her staying. Of course, they also showed how they were a bit hypocritical. All of a sudden, he had what they thought was a real problem and they were compassionate towards him. Then, after they found out what he did, they hated him again. I guess they learned from the best.

I loved Cuddy's line to House when he started to follow her to the bedroom, "Call the Make-A-Wish Foundation."

I thought that was great.

Had me fooled...I really thought the show was going into its last year--possibly cuz Hugh Laurie is sooo tired of trying to maintain the Midwestern American accent LOL!

Yet another perfectly twisted and twisty episode of the best show on TV right now!
