Do you find that when you are a passenger in a car with an unsafe driver, that you tend to pay more attention to the road?

I am a very attentive passenger due to nerves. I pretty much act as a co-driver as I'm scared of not looking at the road in case something happens. I've never been in a major car accident but going in a car with my dad when I was younger has scarred me for life, he hired a car and crashed it reversing out of the hire place.

Yes!! I think it all has to do with control, you feel less of it when you are the passenger. 9 out of 10 times I'm the driver, so the rare times when I am someone's passenger, I feel the same way.

Well, I whip around in my Jeep anyway, but I'm not a bad driver... I obey all stop signs and lights and all that. I just like to drive fast.

Though I've found with friends I almost NEVER wind up driving, partly because most of my friends have seen me drive and are scared crapless :lol:, but also because for however bad they think my driving is, everyone agrees I'm an exceptional navigator, so I usually wind up doing that.

I still watch the road whether the driver is safe or unsafe, I suppose its a habit I'll never break.

Me too! I love to drive fast, but I have a bad habit of speeding and am trying my best not to do it. I don't listen to fast music in the car anymore, mainly talk radio and the ballgames!! :lol: That helps!!

I have this idiot that drives me around 2 times a week and he doesnt watch where he is going.. Runs over pot holes and makes my back,etc hurt as he goes over them....... So many things about him I dont care for...

I really am starting to not wanna be with him as much... I dont get along with him hardily at all....... If I could find someone else to take me out,I would love to!

He is a downer and he is dragging me down.... He took this shot,he lets others run his life and I cant deal with this.....
