View Full Version : So Who Bought The DVD? Superstar 03-08-2007, 05:42 PM Who has bought/ordered the DVD? Have you started watching it yet? And what do you think of it so far? JulieSomoski 03-09-2007, 05:55 PM I have to say that I was pleasantly disappointed. I was just expecting so much more from the set. First of all, the packaging is vey disgraceful. The oiuter cover is nice, and so is the back, but once you get inside, the design ad layout are horrible. It's a movie case, and on one side is disc 1, the other side disc 4. Discs 2 and 3 are on 1 2 sided tray in the middle. the 1st and 4th discs are covering up the episode listings and descriptions, so if you want to choose an episoed, you have to take out the discs to find a certain episode listing. The discs are silver in color, with no photos or anything on them , and are very plain and boring. The menu looks nice, and is very colorful, but also plain, because there is no music in the background or moving pictures or anything. Once you get to the main menu, the episodes are listed right on it. The episode sound is a little low, but I only found a few music substitutions. From what I remember, some of the songs in the episodes are the same as they originally aired, so only some music is substituted. I mentioned a few scenes that were missing, but only where the music was replaced. Overall, a lacking set that could have been much better, and at a much lower price(I payed 32.99 for mine). Superstar 03-14-2007, 05:21 PM I like that the set is like a movie case. When I first read that it would be in this format, I was pretty mad, I wanted regular packaging. But now I see that it will save a lot of room when I put it on my DVD shelf. I can't comment on the quality of the DVD menus etc. yet since I haven't started watching. littlebelle 10-20-2007, 12:05 AM I have to say that I was pleasantly disappointed. Why did they replace those songs?? They mostly did it in the "To Tell A Mortal" episode. I thought it sounded totally stupid! Especially when the principal starts dancing around to that weird song they put in! :) |
