Wouldn't surprise me if they have abandoned it, which is very unfortunate. When a company commits to releasing a show, they need to commit to release all seasons. What Sony is doing now, apparently, is releasing Season One of a series, then looking at the profits and if profits don't match some preconceived expectations, then the series gets dumped (or it may get dumped after season 2 or 3, etc.) Which means that due to TV Land's lousy scheduling practices and Sony's poor DVD release practices, a lot of our favorite shows many never be seen again!

I also received that reply from Sony when I emailed them about season 2 and actually don't feel too bad about the response. Hazel is my all-time second favorite show behind "Bewitched", and quite frankly, I believe that Sony will eventually release season 2 and probably more, of Hazel. Let's keep a positive thought and let's more of us continue to email Sony at: spn_questions@sonypictures.com to ask them to release it and maybe they'll see there's a lot of interest in the show. Thanks, Michael;)

I emailed Sony too! Hopefully if enough interest is shown, they will release future seasons!

Hopefully Sony will release the other 4 seasons of Hazel. With some older shows, it seems that they issue the seasons at a snail's pace, and it's aggravating. I know Hazel is not their biggest seller, but since they did season one they should make the other seasons available in short order so fans don't have to wait an eternity to have the whole series. But it's all about the money. They want to wait and see how season one sells before deciding on future releases.
