The Bits reports in its latest "My Two Cents" column that on June 16, 2007, GOMER PYLE- USMC will see yet another DVD release- this time bringing you the classic second season of the show.

Like I was saying, CBS is pretty good in their releases along with Sony (who is slower but still better than many other companies out there). I believe this season is where they started fimling in color so that will be a nice treat as well. Looks like the episodes are unedited running over 25 minutes each. However, they mention something about some music pbeing changed in the pre-release notes. That one has me baffled unless maybe Gomer started doing some singing during this season...since it has not been on tv in zillion years I don't recall.
