I didn't know exactly where to put this, but I pre-ordered Sabrina: The Teenage Witch (The First Season) on DVD from Amazon a couple days ago, and it was only released yesterday, and it came in the mail today.

Now that's what I call service. That's crazy. One day delivery from Ontario (north of New York) to Newfoundland & Labrador (northeast of Maine, for people that don't know where I'm talking about).

I've got stuff from Amazon the DAY before release. I agree it's a great site but nothing beats hittin' the streets for me and going to DVD Planet and shoppin!

I got it yesterday morning, which is the day of the release. Its the first time I've ever pre-ordered a DVD so I was ecstatic to see that the DVD came so fast. I'll probably pre-order everything that comes out from now on

It's amusing that both Amazon.ca and the postal service's website still say that it is in transit in the original city that it was posted from when I have already picked it up.

I ordered the "Moonlighting" S1-S2 DVD from walmart.com on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, and didn't expect it until between Tuesday, 2/20 and Friday 2/23. To my surprise, it arrived that Saturday, Feb. 17! That kind of quick delivery was very unexpected, because, like I said, I didn't expect it for quite a while; if you ask me, that's great service. If I continue to acquire television series on disc, I will get them from walmart.com online, or Best Buy in-store. Both have the titles that the Wal-Mart store in Simpsonville does not have; walmart.com is also where I got the "Hart to Hart" S2 DVD.

That's pretty good service too.

That is great service. I'm always scared to pre-order, I just wait until something is released....

And Wow, I didn't know Sabrina was on DVD. I'm glad I found this thread!!

The price appears to have gone up $5 though since it's release. I guess I saved that much by pre-ordering. :)
