I believe this was one of the best-written sitcoms ever. Too bad it doesn't get rerun on tv or released on dvd. Michael:p

Too bad it doesn't get rerun on tv or released on dvd. Michael:p gidgetgrape 03-08-2007, 11:26 PM I agree! Imdb.com lists Terry Ryan as the sole writer of the show. Were there other writers? MichaelKeith 03-13-2007, 08:38 AM I'm not sure if there were other writers, but Nat Hiken was a big creative force behind the show and you'll see his name all over the credits. gidgetgrape 03-15-2007, 01:43 AM Thanks for the information. TV Knowledge Fan 04-10-2007, 12:56 PM ...there were a regular stable of writers who worked with Nat Hiken, who guided the series primarily during the first season [as writer/director as well as producer], and "eased off" during the second. Some of them worked with him on "THE PHIL SILVERS SHOW", others were just starting out in the business. Nat KNEW talent- and that's why very few of the show's episodes were "duds". :tv: comedyfreak 04-10-2007, 05:35 PM I just purchased a dvd set of the show with all 60 episodes, can't wait til they come in. I got them from iOffer.com comedyfreak 04-19-2007, 04:02 AM I just got them in, what a great comedy! |
