I agree! Imdb.com lists Terry Ryan as the sole writer of the show. Were there other writers?

I'm not sure if there were other writers, but Nat Hiken was a big creative force behind the show and you'll see his name all over the credits.

...there were a regular stable of writers who worked with Nat Hiken, who guided the series primarily during the first season [as writer/director as well as producer], and "eased off" during the second. Some of them worked with him on "THE PHIL SILVERS SHOW", others were just starting out in the business. Nat KNEW talent- and that's why very few of the show's episodes were "duds".
