This type of thing does go on in philly, but I can't remember a time in recent memory that the eagles asked a player to take a pay cut. Several players have offered to take pay cuts in recent years, Jon Runyan & DMAC this year, they took runyan up on it a few years back. I doubt the eagles will take dmac up on his offer because that would mean the eagles may be thinking about signing someone... LOL We know that aint happening

Take care of your franchise players first. Moss and Portis is the core. While I am not too keen on the signing of London Fletcher (he was done in St. Louis) I am glad we got Fred Smoooooooooot back! I never wanted him to leave in the first place. :lol:
