I'm running with Tara's idea on another thread. I have long hair myself; I'm interested in the opinions on the guys of SO.

OMG, there are so many women, both African American and Caucasian, that have that fake, nasty, weave going on; it looks ridiculous and cheap!!!
Thank God, I have Cherokee Indian in my blood, hence, the reason, why I am able to grow my hair long...:D
And white girls, if you want long, natural hair, eat a lot of protein and take a lot of vitamins, trust me, it does help!
Tell me abt it Tara, tell me abt it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I seen a black girl at my daughter's work who had her hair up in a bun and then she had a long BLONDE PONYTAIL hanging from that bun...WTF???? Who did she think she was fooling with that sh*t hanging from her head????? Ok, maybe she didn't think we would believe it was "real" but still, it was HORRIBLE!!!! She was a very very dark black girl, with her hair combed back and then this wavy, blonde tail hanging there...OMG, I :brent at her the whole time.

Pst. I see girls all around school all the time with worse than that. An African American teacher here has a FULL BLONDE WIG that she wears all the time and on any given day there are black girls here with, like, blue and pink and shiz.

It's horrible. Stick to your shade, ladies.

I love my short hair; being divorced have given me the freedom to chop it off the way I like it. :D

Some women look gorgeous with short hair; my mom is one, but I, on the other hand, would look absolutely horrendous!!!; first, I have a long, very thin face, and another thing, is that I am tall; people would think that I am a dude, if I were to crop my locks.
Same here - I'm 5'8 and skinny. I would look terrible with cropped hair!!

mostly long but GI Jane changed my view of short hair on women forever.

ha, you sound exactly like, me, I am 5'8", around 118-120 pounds...but, I wear heels all the time, so appear to be taller.
Yes, I'm 5'8 (about 105-110 lbs) with an extremely thin build and a very long, oval-shaped face. So yes, I need the long hair!!

I'm mostly attracted to longer haired women, but some women can really pull off the short haired look. One woman who actually looks far sexier with short hair than she does with long hair in my view, is Annabella Sciorra!! Typically though, I prefer anything to the shoulders, and beyond.
