You didn't hear a peep out of Moss when the Vikes went 15-1 durring his rookie season...he didn't say much if anything durring the next season either, as far as I remember. It's when they started losing that he publicly stated that he takes plays off, squirted a ref, "ran over" a traffic cop...etc. Those non verbal incidents may be coincidental, however.
