Yeah, I think it was the colonel. He was the one that died and made her the executrix to his will unless it's another colonel that she dated. Yes, I remember them buying her alot of kitchen and home entertainment stuff.

Jennifer DID fall for a man around her own age once - but he was only after her money. It made her question her own motives for dating older men, but the WKRP staff was able to reassure her that she wasn't a gold digger.
