Who was the name of the 1970's and 80's bankrobber who dressed like Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan and when did this episode air? I believe part of this episode was seen at the beginning of the opening credits after the word "Solved" in which it showed him shattering a bank window dressed like Ronald Reagan.

I remember he was interviewed by Jane Pauley on Dateline a few years after he was featured on UM.

Yes, Patrick Michael Mitchell who is currently 64 years old and is in federal prison. He has a release date of 2033 when he will be like 90, 91 years old. Mitchell actually passed away in prison recently from cancer. I just checked the bureau of prisons website and he was alive still the last time I checked it but appearntly he has died. He was incarcierated at the federal medical center in North Carolina.

Saw this case last night, interesting that UM did mentioned a few times his love for cooking, the ladies and obsessed with looking younger. RS mentioned one of his getway cars that 15 cookbooks were found in the trunk. Good to see he did get caught.
