View Full Version : It's a pretty safe assumption that no one on this board has a 32 inch LCD TV

Who Lives Alone Right? Probably those of you who are married have one but just seeing if anyone on here has one who lives alone. It just seems like the New thing to get. Everytime I turn around I see someone carry one in their place or the empty 32 inch LCD box on the sidewalk-lol You would think it's only $500 not $1400.

I don't have one (solely due to a lack of $$), but one of my best friends does.

I don't have one but my bf does, a bit more than I want to shell out for a tv. I have a Toshiba 32 inch widescreen tv, that I had purchased for $250 2 years ago, when a local electronic store was shutting down.

I have a 20" TV/VCR/DVD combo I got new for just under $200. It works just fine, and it's good for a single girl. :)

That's a good deal. Is it flat-screen?

It's decent. And I live in a low cost of living area, which helps. It is almost 4 years old tho, but it still cost way more than it would today.

Why that type of area? well is the crime rate HIGH?

No! Crime is pretty much non existant. Its very rural. I think we've had like 3 murders in the last 15 years. That dont have much to do with cost of living anyhow. I mean yeah for housing or apartment prices, but not overall goods and services.

Well if I can stay employed from now to 2012 like I did from 1999-2004 without any layoffs, i'm confident I can have something attractive like a 57 inch in 2 years.

Yeah but I wish I would have waited. Cause I could get a nice LCD or plasma for less than I paid for the projection.

I can't be the only single person out there with a big TV.. I mean come on my grandmother has one...

I have a 27" with picture-in-picture. Got it about 6 years ago and it still works great. I'm defintely going for a Flat Screen or something when I need a new one though.

I'm a single girl living outside of Cleveland as well, and would love to own a bigger TV one of these days. My cousin and his family own a 40" flat screen...
