The 49ers have spent their money wisely this off season. They signed star CB Nate Clements to an 8 yr 80 mill $$ :eek: contract and they have also signed S Michael Lewis. The 49ers are really getting better. I'm going to say they have a chance to win the NFC west.
Other key signings
-Eric Steibach signed with the browns. People were saying he was going to get steve hunchinson $$$
-The pats are expected to sign linebacker Adilus Thomas. I thought he was the best player out there on the market.
-The redskins sign linebacker London Fletcher. A great pick up for the skins.

he is good, but he is not THAT good. I lost every ounce of respect for him when he had a chance to lay out ME O at the linc in october & he chose not to... Good Riddance...

The 49ers might be a team to look out for next season.
They need a WR though. They signed ashlie lelie. He isen't good at all. Maybe they should try getting stallworth, Stokely or Moulds. The WR market is not that bad.

By the end of last season, they were winning games. They were improved last year, now they have more talent to go with the improvement.

I wonder if they did. I hope its not another washington redskins thing. Last year they signed archuleta, randal-el, brandon lloyd, and they got al saunders. I thought they were a playoff lock.
