On several episodes Big Rosie and Laverne would get into arguments and
Shirley would have to seperate them. Does anyone know why they didn't get
along?

They said they had been enemies since high school, but I can't recall if there was an actual incident that caused them to become enemies. They did mention several things they each did to each other, but like I said, I can't recall if anything was said as to the VERY THING that made them hate each other.

I loved the Rosie character. She was hilarious.

Her & Laverne were pretty funny. Wonder why she wasn't on for more seasons? I've been watching some of the episodes with her in it but never
could figure out what started their feud.

There is an episode where L&S are at a girlfriend's baby shower and it takes place at Big Rosie's house...that is a classic!!!!!

I too have wondered what started the rivalry between Laverne and Big Rosie, who should have been in more episodes. I liked her too. Jealousy comes to mind. Maybe, it was over a boy one of them really liked.

It's too bad they never did a tv-movie reunion. They could have gone into a bit more detail.

Maybe, I would love for the future DVDs to have extras like interviews or commentaries by a cast member like Michael McKean or David Lander, if it's up to it.

I think that Rosie and Laverne didn't get along was because Rosie thought that she was better then Laverne and Shirley. She always talked down to them and flaunted her money around.

Rosie called Laverne a "bimbo" which made Laverne "fight" Rosie

I was watching an episode where they kind of got along for once. It was when Shirley won a honeymoon stay at the hotel Fister and at the end of the
show they're having a party with alot of people there & Big Rosie pays the
hotel manager a bribe to keep them from getting kicked out. She was actually
kind of nice.
