Can anyone tell me the name or air date of the Poor Soul sketch that was redone in "Young At Heart," when Jackie was on the roller skates? Also, does anyone know if this sketch is available through collectors? Any info would be appreciated.

I know what you are talking about. It's probably on one of the "Best of Gleason" specials or the "Gleason: He's the Greatest" Showtime series which ran not long after the Lost Episodes aired.

I think I remember seeing a clip of it on one of those Honeymooners specials that aired back in the 80's, but I can't remember which one. On the same subject...is there anywhere (on or off the net) to find a list of Poor Soul, Reggie, Joe The Bartender, etc. sketches that aired on the Gleason Show over the years? If they're not going to release the whole show in variety format (which they probably won't due to the Lost Episodes) they should at least put together some kind of collection showcasing the "Lost Episodes" of Gleason's other famous characters. I'm sure there had to be a Reggie sketch or two that ran just as long as one of the longer Honeymooners sketches.

Thanks VIDEOWACK! That means it must still exist because that's the same date the Honeymooners sketch "Anniversary Gift" aired, which is widely available.

SHOWTIME aired the entire hour back in the 80's. The show included singer Toni Arden, The Honeymooners "Anniversary Gift" sketch, The Poor Soul roller skating rink skit, and also a Reggie Van Gleason skit. It was the only Gleason variety hour aired over cable. Wish they had aired more.
