I saw a commercial on TV last night advertising a new cell phone, I didn't catch the name of the phone, but the commercial showed a clip from The Honeymooners as well as I Love Lucy. The Honeymooners clip was of Ralph answering the house phone in "Dial J For Janitor." I must admit, it was pretty cool to see Jackie being remembered like that, especially since yesterday was his birthday. If I figure out the name of the phone, I'll be sure to let you guys know so you can look out for the commercial.

Yeah I haven't had any luck catching it again since the other night...I'll try and keep my eyes open though. The whole commercial was basically just scenes taken from different shows and movies over the years of people answering the phone, I believe the last clip was of Dustin Hoffman answering the phone in Meet The Fockers.

...and it would have been funnier if they used the moment where "Ralph" answers the phone, and that damn buzzer keeps going, and Jackie hits the wall to make it "stop"!

Thanks now I know what cell commercials to pay attention to! I agree that would have been funny if they would have used that clip.

I was wondering that myself, he was probably the most active poster on the old board. If he were to come here, I'm sure we could get the mods to make a sticky thread for him so he could post his quotes every day in the same thread. I'd also like to hear from some of the older members like ZXMan.

I have his email address and just emailed him. I'm not sure if it's still the same. We'll see.

Thanks for the reply.. yes the site was down for a while. I was in the middle of switching hosts and I had gotten sick and so did my husband so I was unable to find the time to re upload the site. But I'm happy to say that all is well.. and as you can see I did reopen the site.

I plan on visiting more often. sorry to hear Johns board is gone, but like you said this is a great board as well, it always has been. You guys are the greatest and very knowledgable so I'm happy to have found you again.

as for Gannooch, he is still a very active member of my you're a riot yahoo group, posting quotes, skits etc.. I will let him know you all are on this board and that you were asking for him etc..

as for ZXman, I have not heard from him is years, he was a very nice guy as well..
