It was down about 291 just before 3pm ET and then all of the sudden it plunged to about 475 and then bottomed out down 540(the worst drop since the first day open after 9/11). It's recovered a bit now and is now down "only" about 350, but it's still a huge selloff.

Has erased a lot of it's gains this month and year.

The worst part? The mass sell-off was caused by....fears of a mass sell-off (The market had huge problems today in China, sending things elsewhere into a panic)

I wonder why the market is having all this trouble
