I forgot that it's the february sweeps period and that local news stations were EXAGGERATING about the snow storm yesterday and it wasn;t as big as they made it out to be. The snow hit here, like every other snow storm we've had, on the ****ing weekend. So still no snow day. I'd rather work into June...stretch my pay a little.

It came an everlovign flood here over the weekend. Of course, it was also 50 degrees.

FWIW, the weather around here is...unusual. COMPARED to other weather. Seriously, in one month we've had a slightly-above-average snowfall, and THE NEXT DAY it's 60 degrees...

lol. Yeah, it never turns out as big as they say. But if they say flurries, it'll snow a foot.

Snow day? What's that? Never heard of such a thing. I wish it did snow here sometimes. The closest we get to a snow day are mud slides or flooding of roads. Even then all that happens is that a few roads get blocked off. No missing work for that. During the summer, we do have rolling blackouts tho', so maybe thats close. Can't work without power.
