Okay, this is a different question; one that I haven't heard being asked before 'cause only totally awesome gilligan's Island freaks would ask this question:
What is your favorite MAG scene and what is your favorite G/P scene. and just to be nice to the other not so customary maryann professor shippers and any other combinations, you can voice your favorite scenes to!

My favorite MAG scene is certainly the classic one where they are 'kissing trees': "It's sweet" -MaryAnn
"Yeah"- Gilligan
"Just like you Gilligan"- MaryAnn
"Yeah?"- Gilligan

I'm not that interested in MAGness, but that just makes you go AWWWW! and cowlover, I swear if I get any insults about this one from you, it'll be fishpie all over again! (ahem long story guys)...

now, my favorite G/P scene (where to begin)! I'll have to say that it would be a scene from the same episode ("Goodbye Island"):
the Professor is working on making a good nail for the Minnow when Ginger walks up:
"How's it going Professor"- Ginger
"Oh, oh well, I'll, I'll have to wati till it cools before I try it"- Professor
"Gee I think it's amazing how you do all these experiments with such shakey hands"- Ginger
"Well they weren't shakey untill a second ago"- Professor
"Oh. well, maybe it's the heat or something. *puts hand on his forehead*"- Ginger
"Yeah?"- Professor

AWWWWW!!!!!!!! *gets all mushy gushy* Love GI romances! SIGH! To bad the show didn't stay on the networks longer; Sherwood was supposedly going to have some couples get married and have kids! Well, SIGH! That's what fan fiction is for... speaking of which... SOMEBODY POST ON THE FANFICTON BOARD! ahem, thankyou.

There were love scenes on Gilligan's Island??

Maybe the one scene with Mr. and Mrs. Howell after Lovey woke up from her CInderella dream..

I completely forgot about the Howell's!!!! Include them to!!!

Yeah, well, they weren't really that romantic or anything... but there were a precious few.... *SIGH* and well, for desperate G/P and MAG shippers... well, we can just analyse and analyse them!!!! And of course we also can delve into the characters inner feelings towards another castaway. Nobody said we couldn't do that... right...

But love that Howell scene! "Thurston, if you hurry you can kiss me for three more koo-koos!"

It's a bit of a stretch to call them "romantic" scenes, but I like the ones with Ginger /Gilligan the best. (Hence my nickname) My favorite is the scene in "Water, Water Everywhere" where Gilligan finds Ginger in the shower. Then Gilligan goes in the shower after Ginger leaves, but the Skipper thinks Ginger's still in the shower so he drops a flower in and says "To the lovliest person on the island" then Gilligan comes out and says "My first corsage! Skipper, does this mean we're engaged?" God, I can't stop lauging just thinking about it. That has got to be my favorite bit in the whole series.

Yeah, that scene was pretty funny...
Some of the Gilligan/Ginger scenes actually are funny... but I'm sorry GingerGilligan... I'm a Ginger/Professor MaG shipper all the way! But, that's fine for you to you know, be a Ginger/Gilligan shipper... I mean... I don't support it or anything because seeing Gilligan with anyone but MaryAnn just doesn't work for me and seeing anyone with Ginger except my dearest Roy just makes me sob hysterically. Ahem. But, yeah that scene is pretty funny:D

Let's see which couples have actually kissed each other (on the mouth) :

Ginger/Gilligan
Ginger/Professor
Mary Ann/Gilligan
The Howells

Remember the dreams Gilligan has. In the spy dream Ginger is his fiancee (he had no problem kissing her there) and he even talks about it afterward (then he mentions the Skipper was his mother. Yeah, Gilligan's an imaginative guy). He also dreams he was married to Ginger (granted they were both vampires, but still a husband/wife vampire team, nevertheless). So why would he dream about Ginger if he wasn't attracted to her deep down inside?

GingerGIlligan, I admire your determination! ;)
Yes you see Professor/MaryAnn shippers... um... hate to break your hearts... but um... they never kissed. I always think of them kind of like brothers and sisters.
But Ginger and Gilligan I'm afraid I will never understand! Gilligan can be one crazy son of a gun can't he GingerGilligan?! I mean, yeah, in like all of his dreams, Ginger is like his girlfriend or some kind of romantic relation... but then... back on the island... whenever Ginger trys to kiss Gilligan, it's him knocking himself out something hard... isn't it?
Well, this is my idea for an explanation for Gilligan's dreams that him and Ginger are somehow together: I think maybe it goes along with all the other crazy things those network exectutives pulled: such as cutting Dawn Wells out of that TV Guide photo shoot. Which by the way, was just plain mean of them! But yeah, it's strange how they always come up in the dreams together...
Maybe we should ask the Professor! (but who knows... we might find him with MaryAnn...) (btw, I would become violent if I saw any MaryAnn/Professor relationship on the show! ) (yeah, the first time I saw "Rescue From Gilligan's Island, I was yelling at the TV because some woman who wasn't Ginger or me was kissing him... I can be pretty obssesed)

It was only in the first season when Gilligan would back away from Ginger. Slowly she trained him not to be afraid and he allowed her to kiss him later on (Note the kiss in "It's a Bird, It's a Plane. . ." when Ginger kisses Gilligan while Mary Ann puts the jet pack on him! Then Skipper says "I wonder what's going on over there!" Now that's another great "romantic" scene!) I supposed Professor did kiss Mary Ann once if you count the "Jack & the Beanstalk" dream where Ginger & Professor are old and ugly, Gilligan kisses Ginger and she turns into a beautiful princess and the old geezer claims he's really a prince so Mary Ann kisses him and he stays the same. "Don't believe everything you hear!" Oh man, that's another favorite moment! This was such a great show.

Hmm... is that so... well, I really don't analyse the relationship between Gilligan and Ginger quite as much as the Professor Ginger relationship. (take a look at the picture to the left, ahem.) But I forgot about that Jack and the Beanstalk dream! That scene was sooooo funny! "That giant is looking better every minute" -MaryAnn. and the cakcling professor is priceless!

Oh GingerGilligan if you have any interest in GI fanfiction... in one of the stories I wrote, there is some Gilligan/Ginger... but that's because it's part of this Mrs. Howell matchmaking scene for Gilligan and MaryAnn. But you might like the picture that is presented during most of the story. If you're interested... the story is posted on the GI fanfiction boards and it's called, "All is Confusing in Love and War".
If you do read it... I'd appreciate your reviews!

Thanks,

I would have to say the "hottest" GI romance scene is the one between
Gilligan and MaryAnn in the jungle (both parts) in "The Second Ginger Grant."
Granted, MaryAnn is out of her mind here but Gilligan isn't. Note his reactions
closely (including before he parts the leaves and comes through them to
MaryAnn). Think of why he might be trying to break away and note that he
is conflicted. Of course, "Goodbye Island" is woven through with some
interesting scenes and comments, although not with the passion of "The
Second Ginger Grant" scene. I don't wish to offend any diehard nostalgic
"pro-innocence" fans--that's all fine--but does anyone notice all the
suggestiveness in both visuals and dialogue in "Goodbye Island?" I think I've
come across some non-fan, regular viewers noting it.
As for "sweet" romantic scenes, there is, of course the Gilligan and MaryAnn scene in "The Matchmaker," together with the closing "walk" scene.
I also think the short traffic cop scene in "Gilligan Goes Gung Ho" is sweet,
in which Gilligan waves Ginger on quickly and stops to look at MaryAnn and
she smiles. There are alot of nice moments, including G/P ones, if one takes
the time to notice them.;)

Don't forget in "Goodbye Island" the Professor says "Ginger, I must smell your perfume!"

Oh believe me GingerGilligan, I most certainly didn't forget that little moment!;)
"Professor! On the day we're leaving..." -Ginger
that episode probably has the most romantic moments, a side from the Matchmaker maybe.
