View Full Version : Coffee, or Tea? Both? or Neither?
Yooch 02-24-2007, 05:22 PM I really like both, the question is at what time of the day?
I have one cup of coffee at home in the morning. At work I'll have one other cup of coffee, during break time around 9:45.
In the afternoon, when I come home from work, I'll have a cup of tea, while I'm watching the news or going through my mail--makes the afternoon go better; it makes me relax and at the same time provides energy and focus for any tasks I have to do later in the afternoon.
Corolla 02-24-2007, 05:24 PM I don't like either one, really. :(
Black Strong Coffee every morning.
I like Iced Sweet Tea in the summertime.
PZelda 02-24-2007, 05:46 PM Very, very, VERY strong coffee, please. I can drink coffee however I want to- I like it either way. I like it black (but with a small spoonful of sugar) or with a bit of creamer. I like my coffee bittersweet... Mmmm...
I like tea too, but only herbal tea. Anything else is disgusting.
snl 70s show fan 02-24-2007, 06:12 PM i drink both
Mr. Cranky 02-24-2007, 06:15 PM Java all the way.
MsOrange 02-24-2007, 06:17 PM ice sweet tea all year long.... i'm not a big fan of coffee. I have to be really really cold and then I MIGHT have a cup of coffee, but it's w/ cream & sugar. I can't stand itblack.
Kay Scarpetta 02-24-2007, 07:22 PM Coffee by a far shot. I drink like a pot a day plus one or two Starbucks' drinks a day.
I do also like tea and iced tea though.
GoldenGirlsFan92 02-24-2007, 07:51 PM Coffee is okay, but I rther the frozen Starbucks kind. I'm a very big fan of Ice-Tea.
Sharop 02-24-2007, 08:45 PM I usually have a cup of coffee as soon as I get up, and a cup of tea in the evening.
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 02-24-2007, 08:49 PM I really can't stand either, especially coffee.
PrettyinPink55 02-24-2007, 09:07 PM Both! :D
Coffee for me please.
I'm serious, one of you newbies get me a coffee.
;)
AllIWantIsYourClutch 02-24-2007, 09:25 PM Both. I drink a lot of coffee in the morning. Tea is my nighttime thing. Or when I'm really cold.
Mr. Stefani 02-24-2007, 09:25 PM I only like iced coffee.
catlover79 02-24-2007, 09:45 PM I like hot tea with lemon but I don't drink it very often.
Don't drink coffee, I have never cared for it. BUT, I do love coffee yogurt and coffee candy. Yes, I know I'm weird. :D
Already Gone 02-24-2007, 10:16 PM Both, I love hot and ice coffee, Hot tea and Ice tea.
Nighthawk76 02-24-2007, 10:20 PM coffee
Janice 02-24-2007, 10:54 PM I can't string words together to form a sentence in the morning until I've had a cup of coffee. I have two cups every morning. At night, I'll have a flavored tea...lemon, ginger, orange, but anything I drink at night has to be decaffeinated.
Number 9 Dream 02-24-2007, 11:30 PM The only kind of coffee I can stand is an iced coffee, and only in small amounts. Coffee makes my stomach hurt like a bitch.
I'll usually drink iced tea, or a hot cup of tea (with honey and 2 packets of Equal) if I'm in the mood :)
Ohio8 02-25-2007, 12:02 AM Both. Coffee: a half-pot or so in the morning, milk and a packet or two of sugar substitute depending on the strength. Full pot later on in the day, plus whatever I drink in a diner or restaurant, or elsewhere. Tea: usually herbal, although sometimes green or black tea. One packet of sug. sub.:happyface
catlover79 02-25-2007, 12:09 AM When my siblings and I were little, Grandma and Grandpa would take us out to eat a lot at Kenny King's. My sister has always been a coffee lover (unlike me) but she would often just suck the cream right out of those tiny plastic cups!! :D
dawsongirl 02-25-2007, 12:59 AM Neither one. Yuck.

lol, I'm the total opposite. I can get by just fine with no coffee, and I can roll out of bed and be clear-minded almost immediately.
I figured out some time ago that I apparently metabolize caffeine REALLY fast. It doesn't linger in my system at all. I could have something with several shots of espresso in it, and it'd do nothing for me. Wouldn't even give me the jitters.

May I ask which Kenny King's? There was one in Mayfield Heights near my house when I was younger! It was on Mayfield Road. I'll get the photo album that there's at least one pic of it and post it in the next couple of days.:) :)

Walton Hills, right off Broadway. Memories...:D
Jrnygrl 02-25-2007, 11:25 PM Neither one. Yuck.
Ditto! Give me hot chocolate!
I hate coffee. I like hot tea, but during the summer I live on ice tea.
Holly 02-26-2007, 02:26 PM Both for me:D
