Let's face it amnesia happens to people once in no one's lifetime. He should have realized Hutch was giving him the business and even though they had been in a car accident Starsky should have spoke to doctors about Hutch's amnesia situation (doubtful HUtch had pretended he had amnesia with the doctors too) if Starsk thought it was real. Funny at the end when there was a paging for "Dr. Bear" (referring to Huggie) on the hospital intercom system. I wonder what Huggie was up to.

Correction, I saw this episode again recently on dvd and I see the writers had Hutch indeed give the doctors the business too.
