In my theory, TV Shows on DVD are becoming a huge business, so the price of season sets are becoming less. Here are a few examples:

Home Improvement: The Complete Sixth Season
THe first 5 seasons of this show had a SRP of $39.99, and were usually around $34 in stores. Now, the sixth season has just been announced for May 15, with a price of just $24.99. That is a $15 difference, yet no reason was given as to why.

The Cosby Show: The Complete Third and Fourth Seasons
Originally, the first season was set at I beliebe $49.99, yet now the third and fourth seasons are an astonishing $24.99. That is a $25 dollar difference.

Three's Company
The first 5 seasons had prices of $39.99, but as the years went by, the last 3 seasons were $10 cheaper, at $29.99.

Saved by the Bell
When these sets originally came out, they were around $39.99 each. But, if you go to a store today to pick up a copy, you will see a price of around $20. That is a $20 difference.

Some have decreased in price while others haven't. Wonder how this is decided? I wish they would all come down in price.

When sets were first out the Average was $40, now I see more $30 sets.

Yeah.I believe it too but I think some have to do with the number of DVD discs are part of it

some dvds have decreased but not much :)
