In 1998 when my family went to CA on vacation, we saw a taping of the Tonight Show on a Monday night -- with Headlines!! Dumb criminals, weddings, car ads...the best!! To top it off, performing in a skit was Jack Riley, aka Mr. Carlin from the Bob Newhart Show.
