On King of Queens Doug had a dream (one of the rare instances where I liked a dream episode) and Isaac the bartender from The Love Boat appeared as that character Isaac.

Also on KoQ, Ray and Debra Barrone appeared as themselves.

Name other instances where a character(s) did this.

Martin-When he and Gina went on a cruise, Issac and Doc were on board as the bartender and Doctor.

Day By Day-The character dreamed he was part of the Brady Bunch. Marcia was on the show.

Roseanne-The cast played the Gilligan's Island roles and the Surviving Gilligan cast played the Conner roles, it was hilarious.

Petticoat Junction, Beverly Hillbillies, and Green Acres did a Thanksgiving or Christmas show together. The last scene were of the cast of all three shows sitting together at the dinner table.

On Wings, Frasier & Lilith showed up for one episode. So did Cliff & Norm. And Rebecca popped in, but she had a really small part.

On Frasier, of course Lilith showed up I'm not sure how many times, I guess about 8. Sam was on once, I think. Diane showed up once, and Woody was on once, too.

Also, on KoQ, Brad Garrett was also on one episode with Ray.

On Friends, Helen Hunt & her friend(sorry, I don't know her name, I really didn't watch Mad About You) showed up at Central Perk on an episode. They saw Phoebe and thought it was Ursula. Of course, Ursula showed up on a few Friends episodes, but it wasn't much of a stretch since Phoebe & Ursula were both played by Lisa Kudrow!!

Most any spin off would count...

Sophia from Golden Girls appeared occasionally on Empty Nest.

Of course the Diff'rent Strokes and Facts of Life characters and Hello Larry characters appeared on each show.

Steve Urkel was once on Full House when Stephanie got new glasses.

Of course there is Happy Days where Laverne and Shirley appeared and vice versa, with Richie and Potsie appearing.

In one episode Steve Urkel also appeared at the Lambert house on Step By Step in Wisconsin north of Milwaukee (Port Washington to be exact), after he launched himself (perhaps in one of his many experiments gone wrong  ) from the Winslows' house in Chicago!

I think Family Matters and Step By Step did the same as what Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley did when they made "Shotgun Wedding."

Yes! NBC did a lot of crossover stunts with thier shows. Also, there was a Seinfeld/Mad About You Crossover, where Paul and Kramer met up. I think the gimick was that Paul once lived in the apartment that Kramer occupied across from Jerry.

Fonzie from HAPPY DAYS appeared on LAVERNE & SHIRLEY 3 or 4 times, also Richie from H.D. And I think Potsie did once.
And Laverne & Shirley were first shown on an episode of HAPPY DAYS.
And, Fonzie and Laverne appeared in the pilot episode of MORK & MINDY.

Goober, Opie, Aunt Bee and Andy all appeared on GOMER PYLE: U.S.M.C. a couple times (not all in the same episode, though).

Lisa Kudrow appeared on FRIENDS sometimes as Ersula, who she used to play on MAD ABOUT YOU.

Mork was on the pilot episode of a short-lived sitcom called OUT OF THE BLUE?-I think that's the title.

George and Lionel Jefferson appeared on ALL IN THE FAMILY a couple times, after THE JEFFERSONS was spun off.

Ray, Debora, Robert & Frank Barone all made appearences on THE KING OF QUEENS.

Gilligan, the skipper, and the proffesor all did an episode of ALF once, when he dreamed he was on GILLIGANS ISLAND.

Jim Nabors made a cameo appearence once on THE LUCY SHOW as Gomer Pyle.

once on HERE'S LUCY Joe Mannix apeared-MANNIX was a detective show in the 60s.

In the 70s, Lidnsey Waggnor and Lee Majors sometimes made cross-overs between their 2 shows; THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN and THE BIONIC WOMAN. And Richard Anderson played their boss on both shows since they both worked for the same organazation.

in the 60s, Pete Malloy and his partner-I forget his name-appeared on DRAGNET a couple times.

J.R. Ewing was on the pilot episode of KNOTS LANDING, and Gary Ewing and his wife-I don't know their names; I never watched KNOTS LANDING- appeared on DALLAS a couple times.

Mary Richards, Mr. Grant, Murray, and Georgette all appeared on RHODA once. In fact, Mary appeared a couple other times too.

don't forget all the cross over apearances of the characters on Paul Hennings shows in the 60s! i.e. THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES, PETTICOAT JUNCTION, & GREEN ACRES. Mostly BH & PJ or PJ & GA, though. As far as I know BH & GA never did any.

That wasn't a real crossover because the Jeffersons was no longer on the air.

on the pilot episode of STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION, DeForest Kelley did a cameo as Dr. McCoy from STAR TREK. On another episode of NEXT GEN., James Doohan appeared as Scotty from ST.
On the pilot of STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE 9, Patrick Stewart apeared as Capt. Picard from NEXT GEN.
On the pilot of STAR TREK: VOYAGER, Armin Shimmerman had a cameo as Quark from DS9.

on STAR TREK: VOYAGER once; Levar Burton did a cameo as Geordi LaForge.
Also on VOY. Dwight Shultz and Marina Sirtis were on it a few times as Reg Barclay and Deanna Troi from NEXT GEN.
Another time on VOY. George Takai and Grace Lee Whitney revised their roles as Sulu and Janice Rand from STAR TREK.
Leanord Nimoy played Spock in 2 episodes of Next Gen. (it was a 2 parter but he only appeared in the very last scene of the first part and only had 1 line).

Gary Burghoff played Radar in a two-part episode of AFTER MASH. But he also was just in the very last scene of par 1 and only said 1 thing.
Alan Arbus and Edward Winter revised their roles of Col. Flagg and Sidney Freedman on AFTER MASH.

The C.S.I.: NEW YORK cast was on C.S.I.: MIAMI twice.

Once on ST. ELSEWHERE Shelley Long, Ted Danson, and Rhea Perlman all guest stared as Diane, Sam, and Carla from CHEERS (both shows were set in Boston)
