I was young when the show was in its prime in the early/mid 90s. I was just wondering if they ever made any unsolved mysteries merchandise or collectible type stuff, t-shirts, posters, etc.... It may be a weird question, but i have always wondered this. ha

There were a few things but they were very very limited issue and were just swag given out to people who worked on the show. I think I've seen a carry-on case and possibly a jacket at various points on eBay.
I have an UM cap. The UM folks sent it to me seven years ago. They gave it to me for free.
I also recall asking them if they had any other UM merchandise (such as t-shirts), but they said they didn't. :(

someone needs to make a shirt with the UM logo purplish and a picture of robert stack, 80s looking, I would buy it. Not that iron on crap either, I should try to find a screen printer to make one.

I've also seen a UM jacket that was probably worn by one of the crew for sale on Ebay several months ago.

I have a baseball cap, a wooden clock and a wristwatch. All were from Ebay and I think were originally made for crew members only.

There was a cap on eBay last week, black cordoruy. Nobody bid on it.
Also some other vintage stuff currently up for bids, like a collection of magazines. That shows up at the top of this link:

You can also obviously get genuine (or not) Robert Stack autographed pictures off eBay. In all his different ages. The one that I used in my DVD covers for example.

It's been said many times, but it would be something if a company purchased the music and released an offical cd of the Unsolved Mysteries score. Complete with every cue,the disclaimers and a couple stack lines. ;) Probably won't happen, but a man can dream. As far as sales,an Unsolved Mysteries soundtrack wouldn't do too bad imo.
When you talk about products from a cult classic, there is always a question about the number of people that will actually buy the product. 'Unsolved Mysteries' has crossed over mainstream wise, and continues to be relevant twenty years later. Many people, who aren't diehards like us remember the name, and Stack. However, what's the most remembered aspect of UM that people who aren't diehards always bring up? The music of course!...people always comment on how eerie and unique that signature music was. It's past time Cogsgrove,or whoever owns the music. Do the deed and set it free..:music:
