I have all 7 seasons of the golden girls and i thought there was an episode where the girls were at some specail function and one of them says something about someone being confused and some guy comes over wearing a dress and says you think he's confused just take a look at our horn section? Can someone help?

I think that episode was in Season 2, when Blanche dated the caterer, Jake. I could be wrong though.

tlctggfan is right. The episode is called Diamond In the Rough, in season 2.

I figured that was the one, cause usually, the "banquet" episodes revolve around a fight or argument that they are having, and that one was really just about Blanche's conflict.
