Having a vehicle drive through your house. Definitely not good. My neighbors had to have their whole house rebuilt a couple of years ago after someone drove through.

Car driving through place of business. Again, not funny in real life. People have been injured or killed. Businesses have gone bankrupt. Not funny.

Having a weapon pulled on you or being a crime victim. And no one in Sitcomland ever suffers from PTSD either.

Dealing with a rude or inept employee. I guess they are funny when you're not the one dealing with them.

Boss or Co-worker from Hell Well, maybe they are funny when other people tell you their horror stories over beers

All of the above. No doubt about it. Add to that bad dates.

Add:

Mouthy Children: In real life, I would get my mouth slapped.

Kids Who Do Bad Things But Doesn't Get Punished For It: See Full House. Not cute.

Also the tripping and falling down routine on tv is funny but it really hurts
when you do it. I know this from experience, I broke my wrist from a fall.

A fire in the kitchen or food so badly burnt the whole room fills with smoke.

I guess making jokes about being fat or overweight (see roseanne) and also arguements are funny in sitcoms sometimes.

FOOD FIGHTS. I think it would be so cool to have a food fight with a bunch of people, but really, who wants to clean up the mess???

Cheers had a food fight in the Thanksgiving episode and Roseanne had an ice-cream fight after DJ won the spelling bee contest.
