I just signed it as well. I don't know what good this will do, but it can't hurt either way. I think Buena Vista underestimates the interest in the show. I know it only lasted one season but I chalk that up more to its new timeslot on Friday nights than as a reflection of its quality. True, it wasn't as good as The Golden Girls but it still was funny. Even without my fave Bea Arthur, the show still held its own.

We need to have this on DVD...

We really do need this & Empty Nest out on DVD.

As someone who grew up watching GG when it was originally on Saturday nights (when TV made staying home on Saturday worthwhile, kinda like CBS during the 1970s, and Gleason during the 1950s and 1960s) I think that Palace deserves to be released on DVD. I view it as GG's 8th season, even though I know that it really is a complete different series. Still, it is part of GG and even thought it wasn't nearly as good as GG, it wasn't that bad, either. Seeing the reruns on Lifetime made me realize that the show was actually better than what I remembered it being. A lot better than almost all shows that are on right now for sure!

The Golden Palace wasn't The Golden Girls, but it was indeed a Great show. Keep voting & signing for GP to come out on DVD.

It's been quite a while since the last season of GG was released and still no word on the release of The Golden Palace :(

This is getting disappointing. I know there are mixed feelings about The Golden Palace but I want it to complete my collection.
