I was also gonna vote Mr. Bradley. Nighthawk76 02-22-2007, 02:09 PM I thought Nancy was really funny despite her limited role. I like Nancy too. She had some really funny scenes. The scene in "Dieting" where she is pulling on those skin tight jeans is really funny. I like all the first year girls. Family Ties Forever! 02-24-2007, 12:56 AM Cindy I Love Lamp 02-24-2007, 06:41 AM You should totally do that! A.D.A. Casey Novak 02-24-2007, 09:44 AM Had Cindy not spoken in such a babyish way, I would pick her. I think she had some talent and some potential, but her tone of voice just kept bringing back memories of Cindy Brady. Maybe that's why they're both named Cindy. I Love Lamp 02-25-2007, 04:16 PM Honestly, why aren't more people voting for Nancy? Cindy and Sue Ann really weren't as funny to me. They just had more lines. Troi Tribble 03-05-2007, 07:50 AM I like all 4 of the 1st season girls! I wish this poll had "All of the above" as a choice! A.D.A. Casey Novak 03-05-2007, 02:40 PM Oh I forgot one thing. To me, Miss Mahony brought the most to the show. She was very multi-faceted and just genuinely engaging. For those who are unaware of this, this actress has really succeeded in Hollywood (as a character actress). Why FOL dumped her remains a mystery. Kind of like the Bermuda Triangle. I can't imagine their reasoning. Think for a moment, if you will, don't you think that Miss Mahoney could have done wonders with her role? Her hair-cut was very flattering as well. Those first four episodes will be forever etched in my heart. canuckkidd 03-05-2007, 03:29 PM Oh I forgot one thing. To me, Miss Mahony brought the most to the show. That hair, oh that hair.... Words simply can't express how I felt when I saw that hair in your post. Thanks to you, I can now simply just watch and stare. And it's such a flattering picture. Her expression is priceless. I adore that red gem stone around her neck. Do you think there's any way I can somehow use your picture as my screensaver? I'm crying a little right now. canuckkidd 03-05-2007, 04:15 PM Canuckkidd, you have absolutely no idea how your post just lifted my spirits. That hair, oh that hair.... I am glad to be of assistance, in addition to your Felice Fan Club would it be possible to have a Felice/Jenny O'Hara fanclub. I understand that you were the one who was brilliant enough to have thought of this so it would not be fair to you to ask if I could become the club president. But would it be too much to ask if I can become the VP of the fan club? Please take me into consideration, as I feel I have the credentials and qualifications to partake in such an esteemed position. Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 03-05-2007, 04:17 PM Sue Ann. :) A.D.A. Casey Novak 03-05-2007, 04:45 PM You know what I honestly liked best? It's the trust the girls established amongst themselves. They tried very hard not to hurt eachother and they did the best thing they could do even when they were under very awkward conditions. And they also didn't need "proof" to attest to a friend's loyalty. For instance, if Molly told Blair that Natalie was talking about her behind her back, what would Blair do? Would she need a bunch of evidence of Natalie's loyalty? Or would she just assume the worst? Say for instance that Blair was put in the middle of a bad situation that she NEVER ASKED FOR. She didn't know what to do, so as much as possible she stayed out of it and said as few words as possible. I'm sure the others would automatically think that Blair must have meant well. Or would they? Like Jo says, Everyone has an angle and she is right. TALLguyinKY 03-05-2007, 08:12 PM Cindy :) Julie Piekarski's acting and mannerisms areally get on my nerves, and the Nancy character didn't get much depth or story. Molly was funny and cute, but Cindy is my number 1 fave. chrisjm23 12-05-2007, 05:35 PM My heart belongs to Sue Ann. She was one gorgeous gal. Childofthe80s 12-06-2007, 07:52 PM Molly catlover79 12-07-2007, 12:34 AM Cindy Webster, for sure. I loved seeing Julie Anne Haddock (now Becker) on the Season 1/2 DVD extras!! :D Nighthawk76 12-07-2007, 01:00 AM I last posted in this thread nearly a year ago, and I still pick Cindy as my favorite first season girl. She was great in "Rough Housing", which remains one of my favorite episodes. catlover79 12-07-2007, 01:12 AM I last posted in this thread nearly a year ago, and I still pick Cindy as my favorite first season girl. That was a good episode, and so was the episode where Cindy and Sue Ann come to blows after competing against each other in track. One of these days I'd like to see the Great Santini (1979), a movie where Julie Anne Haddock played Robert Duvall's daughter. My three favorite first season episodes are "Rough Housing", "Running" and "Dieting". -STEFFY- 12-07-2007, 12:26 PM Who is your favorite 1st-year "Facts of Life" character?
