Why is it that Universal Home Video is currently releasing the 3rd season of Emergency onto DVD, but has neglected Adam 12?

I guess Dragnet and Adam-12 did not live up to Universal's expectations. I wound up purchasing both from a quasi-legit website in complete series form as I have given up on Universal completing them. Besides the Universal dvd's sucked anyway from a quality standpoint (various freeze-ups and some won't even play anymore in 3 different dvd players).

It is a shame as Adam-12 was a great show and deserves better. I really like Dragnet also (the late 1960's color version has some clunkers but is still a pretty good show overall, just not as well done as the B&W one from the 1950's).

Universal should have sent out corrected disc for Adam 12 s1,Dragnet s1 and Emergency s1.It goes to show that they didn't care.Fortuanly other Universal releases like Emergecy Season 2 and The Incredible Hulk Season 1 seem to have no issues and I'm glad to see they put Emergency Season 3 on single sided dvds and hope they will do that with 4.

That sucks... what a great show. Would have been nice to have in the collection.

Yeah, the quality seems to be better with single-sided DVDs. I had the same problem with season 1 of Adam-12.

I sure wish Sony would release season 2 of this show because it was such a good, clean show that we need more of.
